1. Theriot
2. Murton
3. DLee
4. Aram
5. Sori(in right)
6. Barrett
7. Pie(in center)
8. Izturis

That's what the lineup should look like right now. Cubs need to give Jaque the boot asap.

Regardless, they've built a pretty solid core on the Northside. :-/

May want to give the guy more than 14 mlb ab's before you lead him off. Next year though I would see nothing wrong with batting Pie leadoff.

DeRosa got off to a hot start, but at this point, the Cubs need Theriot's bat at the top of the lineup more than they need a guy like DeRosa. I don't know if Pie is ready to play a huge role, but I expect most of these guys are interchangeable parts that will start 5 days a week.

Theriot can also play the OF as with DeRosa.

Mark Derosa should be glued to the bench.

I was at his major league debut. The guy should be in center field alone for his defense/arm/hustle and the fact that it'll let Soriano move to left and focus on hitting and not learning a new position in a stadium that Torii Hunter he would not want to play center field in full time. If the White Sox can stomach Brian Anderson in CF because of his defense, the Cubs can definitely stomach this guy feeling his way around the majors while making great plays in CF as he's done so far this year.

Well I said in my first post that Pie should play center. I just don't think he should leadoff so soon.

And you guys need to hide Sori in right. No reason to make Murton switch positions.
