Prospect Decision - Waivers Quandry

Ok I have the #2 Waiver priority in a 20teamer.
Im ofcourse holding onto it waiting for another stud prospect to be called up. PHughes hopefully first

But lets say someone else is brought up b4 him? Say a BButler or a lesser rated prospect(still considered a top one but no Hughes)

Ofcourse it all depends on what the team with the #! WW priority does...... but u know what i mean?

Do i put a waiver claim in on one of the other guys? u dont know who will come up definitely!
I dont base my picking or drafting of prospects on position, just try and get the best guy.

I don't understand how your league works, how can you have players on your team like Pie and Lind but Hughes has to be claimed through waivers?

This is one league that just uses Yahoo available players.

Since their r no farm clubs we have to keep N/A players on our rosters & claim prospects as they become available.

Take whomever comes up first. Don't assume a player is getting called up because he may not. Two years ago a buddy of mine with the #1 waiver passed on Felix to wait for Delmon. Guess who never got called up? He ended up using it on Hermida, who was so awesome last season he wasn't kept.
I'd probably pass on Braun if I were you since you have ARod locked at 3B, but would use it on any of Miller, Gallardo, Hughes, Butler, Pence...
