yes. they should just put his plaque on the wall, but have no ceremonies, or anything of the sort. for his playing he deserves to be in, so put him in, but never let him have anything to do with baseball again.

i could be wrong, but didnt he gamble as a coach? if this is the case, then shouldnt he be remebered for his playing days. Again, not sure about the coach part, but i think i heard it was true

It seems like he has gotten a lot less support for the hof since he admitted it.................this is odd because many said they would only support him for the hof if he admitted it...........

I think most people felt they would want to let him in if he came clean about it. I think really that means they wanted him to come forward and apologize and admit what he did. Say he was wrong and really give a heartfelt apology...and MEAN IT. He did none of those things. He admitted what he did and still acted like he was a victim.

i probably don't know enough about the situation.. I tend to ignore all the heartwarming "specials" on tv -- did he actually ever shave points off of games or do anything in game to change the outcome? if not then yes, if yes, then no.
