I remember reading where he spent the entire off season working on pitch recognition from left handers. He was so frustrated because he never had any problems with left handers in the minors. His manager said it is not straight platoon situation this year, which is good 'cus Boone is his platoon partner this year. I would expect at least 500-550AB's out of Jacobs this year.
