I ahve updated the article at the bottom with the new information that came out.

Based on the new information that has come to light, is it still prudent to even blog about this event? If so, would it not be better to re-write this story altogether.

Updating your article on the very bottom does not minimize the impact your thoughts prior to the update have on the reader.

Personally, I threw in the towel in January, but management gave him this opportunity. If you wish to take away this opportunity on the basis of this last incident, (considering all mitigation), I think it's a mistake.

Just my opinion.
