MOVES MADE
Dropped J. Patterson for A. Loewen. With losses a category in our league, Patterson needs to at least bring good peripherals to the table in order to warrant a roster spot. His peripherals are terrible. K's are down, BB's are up, ERA and WHIP are inflated, and his velocity is reportedly in the high 80's. Add to the fact that he pitches for the Nats, and he offers absolutely zero benefit to a fantasy team.
Loewen is a SP with upside, a good offense supporting him, and he's backed by a much improved bullpen. If he leaves the game with a lead, he's got a good chance to pick up a win. Even IF Patterson turns it around, chances are he's going to pick up his fair share of NDs and tough luck losses.
Any other suggestions for improvement?

pretty decent team for a 14 team league. i would say that you definitely need improvement in the closer situation and maybe some better bench help for the offense. whos available??

See if you can pick up a closer to support jenks. I'm not that confident in gagne myself, and weathers is not exactly going to be able to hold the job once guardado is back IMO. Perhaps look into grabbing a takashi saito or chad cordero via trade...at least in the range of 30~ saves
Another thing you can look to do is move Renteria after is his good early start, slide Glaus into SS and then throw encarnacion into your starting 3B spot. I would like to see another closer and then maybe grab one who picks up a job mid year.
I would get rid og gange. He just isnt going to be a dominant force. get wickman, or a good closer somewhere else
they are guaranteed to guive you saves, which a lot of other players cant
even up to 3 strike outs a game to add to what ever your other starters will give you
what do you think of my line up? its p[osted on here on this forum also
also, see about getting platers that play multiple bases so you can swtich em aroun on off days for your started
some production from a good bench is better than a started on the bench and no production because you had another started in
