Humber or Patton EDIT - Finished draft how did I do???

Who do you guys like better to add to a Minor League roster?

Wouldn't really want them to get called up this year, but would want whoever I take to be a lock for the rotation in 08...

Thoughts?

********* I ended up with Elbert, Morales, Patton, and Samadzija - how do you guys think I did *******

there were no bats so I went with the best arms I could find. Thoughts on each player?

Sorry - It was Philip from NYM...

I ended up getting
Elbert, Morales, Patton and took a flier on Samardzija with the last pick.

Solid ML pitching staff???

Not to hurt your confidence or anything but I think I would have chosen Humber over Patton. Now im not sayin that Patton is a bad choice, the kid is talented but I believe Humber will have the better career and could start in Sept. If the mets were to be out of contention (which wont happen).

All in all I think you have a pretty good Minor league rotation. Franklin Morales is NASTY. Scott Elbert is incredible, hitters swing and miss very often against him. Both have control issues but should improve soon. Jeff Samardzija not too high on but he might either be a K. Farnsworth or a Matt Clement type pitcher.
