Hi, this is my second year and I'm not an expert. Just hoping I could get some help with the issues of my team. Any lineup changes i should make? Just some questions, should I start Dave Roberts or Corey Hart or Victorino? Olsen or Contreras when Garcia is healthy? Thanks!

I start Hart.

It's a good team.

I'd trade Roberts for a Delgado type. I'd go as high as Konerko and as low as Fielder. If you've rolled the dice with Kent, you may as well maximize his value and take advantage of your depth at a scarce position. Roberts is thought to be worth much more than he actually is.

And why not take a young C with big upside as a flier instead of two white-bread & a glass of water known commodities? Bard/Paulino/Ianetti/Napoli all qualify. I can't imagine why more people aren't doing that with C after McCann last year (I got laughed at for drafting him in the 22nd) and Mauer two years ago (I got laughed at in the 10th with him).

You look set up to do fairly well in all categories. You should be able to pick up some quality players in week 3 when people start dropping sleepers for those vets off to a good start.

hart is better than roberts overall, but after losing Roberts will I get enough steals?

I think so: Bay, Soriano, and Hart is a good start.

You can always sub in Dave Roberts, too, when need be.

I would start olsen for sure over contreas and garcia. i'd start hart or victorino over roberts as well. hart will give you sb's. i also agree with previous post about upgrading your catcher position. bard, ianetta, russell martin if available.

Like your pitching... you could use a little power. Is this a five team league? I have a difficult time basing how good teams are with that little teams. Konerko is def. a good idea as someone else said, he can get ya 30 bombs and 110 RBIs in a good year.

this is a 10 team league. I'm convinced I do need more power, maybe I could trade Kent or B. Roberts. Im still not convinced about trading Brian roberts though, becaus if I start Hart over Dave Roberts then I won't have any base stealers.

would trying to trade Kent and maybe a pitchr like Olsen, Francis or Bedard be a good deal for Delgado? No guarantees it would work, but it would be a try. Delgado's owner has Brandon Phillips as his 2B so the trade might work.
