Since he's been placed on the DL for 15 days, he might actually miss a save or two... lol.

Per the article:
Octavio Dotel, 33, suffered a setback Thursday when he experienced renewed problems with his strained left oblique while throwing from a mound at the club’s year-round facility in Surprise, Ariz.

Plans call for Dotel to return to Kansas City to undergo a follow-up magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examination today to determine the cause of the continuing pain.

“He was throwing well for the first 20 (pitches),” manager Buddy Bell said. “Then he felt something similar to what he had before. Same area. We’re not sure if he’s reinjured it or whether this is just part of the (recovery) process or what. We’ll have to wait and see.”

some people are calling Soria "KC's Papelbon"

Im not syaing that but hes worth adding

even if Dotel comes back and pitches well Royals will trade him to a contender (see also Al Reyes/TB)

Regardless it seems Soria will give you at least a week of saves but since he plays for KC it may not be that much.

Dotel is stashed on my DL spot so I guess I'll just wait it out.

I think I read that KC had the second most save opp's in the AL last season.

Haven't they already had a few save opp's this season?

Octavio Dotel (oblique) threw 25 pitches off a mound Wednesday.
"I threw 60 to 65 percent," Dotel said. "It feels like it is going the right way. I hope things stay the way they are so I can pitch for the Kansas City Royals pretty soon. It’s feeling the way it’s supposed to feel. I hope in the middle of May I will be with my team doing the best I can for them." May. 3 - 9:13 a.m. ET
