Game 2, Yuni Belts It

Postby Seattle_Will » Wed Apr 04, 2007 2:27 am

Jarrod had a very solid game today. 6 Innings allowing 2 runs on 3 hits and 3 walks. Mateo gives up the lead in his first inning of the year, but Yuni and the Offense take it back, and Morrow closed it out on his Major League debut.

Back to back wins are always great, especially against the A's. All the starters now have a hit and this game was won with the bats. Richie is also off to a great start, and to no ones surprise so is Ichiro. It's only two games but it still feels great.

Good win, and tomorrow we go for the sweep and more wins to follow.

I does feel good to win two game to start the season, but it feels better that those two games were agaist the A's. We now have to see how the rest of our rotaion fairs. Our #1 is great, #2 is OK, but 3 thru 5 is iffy.

Very true. Definitely nice to take the first two against Oakland. I don't like our chances against Harden though, he owns us. :-o

Hopefully we can keep that momentum, not a bad start to the season.

It really sucks to not be able to watch the games, XM radio works OK though. :-/
