What a welcome by some people :-t

Notice the "L" next to his name? I think some people in this thread need to take their own advice - be patient. Dont like what he said? Dont respond.

Having an "L" next to his name has nothing to do with exercising some basic comment sense and realizing that we are only 1/81 if the way through the season. This post is tantamount to Peyton Manning panicking that he will lose the game after he throws an incomplete pass on the first play. Stupid posts like these have nothing to do with experience and everything to do with people not thinking before they post or lacking good abstract reasoning skills.

I am not using" the beginner" as an excuse. I am just antsy when my big guys dont do what they are supposed to do ( Pujols ,Sheffield, Cano ) not to mention Alex Gordon is struggling and Matt Holiday until yesterday. It just seems that everyone else in my league is not having that kind of bad luck. I know that all of these guys that I have mentioned will eventually find their groove and things will eventually pan out like they are suppossed to but I am an impatient guy.

This is NOT football. In football, you kind of have to worry by necessity if studs aren't perfoming up to par, as after two games, your guys have played over 10 percent of the season already, and there might be a reason.

This is not a game of making rash decisions. You drafted people for a reason (for the most part). You sit studs or do something stupid, you are just shaving off stats, stats that you made specific decisions based on comparisons to other players. Sometimes, 5-6 home runs is a plateau that you pick one player over another. You sit your hitters a couple of times because you are overthinking, and you miss those. And if you are going to do that, why not just draft an "all solid team" and see where that gets you?

I know it is only the 2nd game of the year

Listen to your own advice. ;-D

It's early. Don't worry about it. You have a good team. You'll be fine.[/quote]

You have probably found the wrong hobby then.
You've got a diamond, You've got nine men
You've got a hat and a bat, And that's not all..

Dude. You did a fine job drafting your team. 3 days now have gone by. My team is sucking it up too, don't fret. According to my rough calculations, 1.86% of the season has gone by. You have 98% of it to go.

RELAX.
