Options at Pitcher

I already made my pick, but I want to see how others view my choice.

Prior to my selection, I had 4 hitters and 1 pitcher in my minors. They were Maybin, FMart, Adam Jones, Jeff Clement, and Scott Elbert. I decided I should select a pitcher next.

The top available players by my draft board were:

Will Inman
Felix Pie
Brandon Erbe
Travis Snider
Ian Stewert
Jarrod Saltalamacchia
Jacob McGee
Franklin Morales
Elvis Andrus

I selected Jacob McGee. My take is that Inman is somewhat of an unknown still, and some who do know him think he has too much injury risk, so I'm relatively certain I could get him next round. Somewhat of a similar situation with Erbe, except that since I have Elbert I thought I could take the larger risk of McGee's higher ceiling.

So I want to know, would you consider my decision sound? Since most of my prospects are many years away, should I have given more thought to Pie despite my hitter loaded farm? Did I shortchange Erbe's potential?

I would have took any of Ian Stewart, Travis Snider or Felix Pie before ANY pitcher in this list. And that pitcher would be Brandon Erbe or Franklin Morales. McGee may have high upside, but TB has a LOT of young pitchers so one stumble and he'll fall 4-5 places on their depth chart. And having traded Elbert recently for Zack Greinke, I wouldn't call somebody who has more control problem than Oliver Perez in the minors "safe" at all. I think he's way overrated.

i would of taken Snider over everyone on that list imo...

however i do rate Erbe higher then McGee... but McGee would rate as the 2nd pitcher with a higher K potnetial.
