Keeping pitching around is always a good strategy, but I don't think the starters you have warrant throwing Delgado back in the pot. I would also consider retaining Chipper Jones.

Here are the 6 I would keep:

1. The Big Unit
2. Bartolo Colon
3. Josh Beckett
4. Carlos Beltran
5. Carlos Delgado
6. Johan Santana

If you had 5 of the top 15 starters it might be diffrent but you will be able to pick up a couple of pitchers that are as good if not better with draft picks so these are the guys off your roster I would keep.

Delgado is a keeper. No way I'd toss him back. Chipper is worth consideration as well.

Id keep Delgado and ditch Maddux. You can try this strategy but only having 1 hitter seems to put you at a little too much disadvantage in hitting...

I disagree with the strategy but given your roster that is what you have to do. I wouldn't keep Chipper, but if you wanted another bat why not take a chance on Carlos Lee. Depends what happens with Maggs though.
