Counter Offer for Dukes etc?

Postby powenM » Mon Apr 02, 2007 10:00 pm

Originally an owner who needs a good Catcher offered me RCano for BMcCann. I rejected it.

I then recently offered him CIannetti for EDukes. He rejected that.

Now hes offering me Dukes for McCann. Im leaning toward rejecting it and making him a counter.

Say McCann & something for Dukes and Cano. What do u think? This would help my roster significantly!

As a side point he really wants ARod too. So if u can think of something else...Shoot!

Thank U!
Just traded BButler, BWood & JLoney for Mark Teixeira, Ryan Theriot & Renyel Pinto in a DYNASTY LEAGUE. Big gamble I know!

I wouldn't trade McCann. He is far and away better than Iannetta. I expect Cano to regress, so that makes me not like the deal even more.

But if you really want him and Dukes, I would go McCann/Granderson for Dukes/Cano/Taveras. I wouldn't settle for much less than that, maybe Crisp instead.

McCann is good, and young, and peaks higher than Ianetta. He would be pretty much untouchable for me.

I have Russell Martin, who isn't as good as McCann, but he is an untouchable as well.

I wouldn't trade McCann by himself for Dukes and Cano.

I would have jumped all over Iannetta for Dukes if I were that other owner. Slide Patterson into that Util spot and send Molina packing.
