The Astros also had themselves an awesome first three rounds with Hughes, Pence and McCutchen.
I'm not a fan on the D-Rays and Royals first two picks each considering who else was available, but Ellsbury/Danks in 3/4 helps out the D-Rays.
I wouldn't have taken Salty over Butler if he was my brother, but that's more towards what I think of Butler and not a knock on Salty. The Mets more than made up for it with their next two picks in Upton and Martinez.
Eric Hurley was a nice pick at 6.4
Upton was not a Mets pick. He went to the Orioles in round 2. Longoria was the Mets pick (I figured it better, when a pick was missed, to list the guys in the order they were actually taken, rather than keeping the teams in order- in retrospect, having done this, I ought to have noted who took each).
I was the Orioles, and had the Asst. Commissioner (Yankees) pick the highest ranked player by BA for the fifth pick, which I missed due to being abroad. I'd also like to add that I had a pretty stacked MLB team, and was at the contract year limit, so I wanted guys who wouldn't be up before September 07.

This was the first time any of us had played in a Dynasty, so the odd homer pick was to be expected I think. It's also a 6x6 (HLD & OPS) so SP and speed and a little devalued.
