Yahoo Head to Head League
Standard 5 x 5 (ERA, WHIP, SAVES, WINS, Ks, HRs, RBIs, Rs, SB, AVG)
20 Teams

22 Player Roster (including injured players)
$200 Cap

Starting Roster will be C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, OF, OF, OF, UTIL
SP SP, RP RP, P P P

The players are chosen in an auction format; every three days every team choses one player to be bid on in auction format. Bidding must be in whole number incriments of at least $1. A bid must stand for 18 hours before it wins. There is no time limit to bidding, bidding only ends when after the 18 hour standing period.

Winning bids cannot be removed, and once a player is claimed, he is on your team. However, you can remove a bid if it is not yet a winning bid (Please do not remove a bid if it has been the winning bid for 12 hours+)

If you have room on your roster, you can add a player at any point in the year, but your salary cannot exceed $200 and your roster cannot exceed 22.

If you drop a player, you will pay half of his contract for the rest of the year, but you have the added roster space. If the player is subsequently picked up within a week of the drop, you do not need to pay any part of his contract.

Trading is encouraged, but trades will be cancelled if they put one team over the $200 cap.

At the end of the year there will be a resigning period. You can pay 1.2 (I will include 1 decimal place in all contract amounts in future years) times the original contract to keep the player an additional year, otherwise the player goes back into the FA for the next year.

Some people have IMed me asking if this is a keeper league. The answer is in the rules. Yes this is a keeper league, but contracts will increase each year you keep a player. You could keep all of your players or none, its up to you.
