Does anybody think that he will be any good, they say he had a lot of K's in Japan, and he is pitching for NYY, but I really hadn't heard anything about him until i drafted him late. He doesn't sound like a bad late round sleeper.

i think he'll do ok. he might be more than a poor man's matsuzaka.

i actually think he is gonna be a stud...he has a real nice bullpen to back him and i nice lineup

should rack up a ton of Ks and Wins

As a Yankee fan, I think he's gonna crash and burn. He just doesn't seem to have MLB stuff. Obviously, I hope he makes Dice-K look like Hideki Irabu, but I doubt it.

It depends if he has control problems, which I foresee happening judging by his spring. Walks kill Yankee pitchers more than others because of the increased pressure of pitching as a Yankee (see Contreras).

My projection is he'll be another Yankee bust who'll do alright on another team come next year.
