Karim Garcia/Damian Moss
or
Jorge Julio/Travis Hafner

Which team gets the better deal? Both teams look good offensively, and the team that would get Moss needs a starter and the team that would get Julio needs a reliever

Pretty even, but i probably like Julio/Hafner end, simply because i like Moss the least of the 4.

If I need a closer - I'm thrilled to get Julio/Hafner for Garcia/Moss

If I need a starter - I think I'd be giving up to much in Julio/Hafner to get Moss.

If your on the Julio end - GO! If not, can you get a better Starter in the deal?

I'm on the side that would get Julio -- and only Julio. Hafner is on the scrap pile and is who I would pick up with the extra roster spot. I just wanted to make sure that I'd get enough. I'm just not sold enough on Garcia.
Any other opinions?

I'd want the Julio duo. You're not giving up an tremendous amount for a lights out closer who should record at least 25 saves.

i disagree with most of these guys. i would say hafner is nothing right now, where garcia has some experience and in those 53 games he played he hit 300 and 16 dongs, which is quite solid for such a young man. and moss as well is a fine young man who is primed to bust out in sanfran this year, whereas julio closes for a bum team that wins VERY few games. go with moss/garcia....much better upside.

totally agree rjforlife.

as everybody can see i am high on moss. there are other topics on him that i have opinions.

i think he will have a solid year this year. 18-20 wins. he is probably the #2 starter if livan get dropped. the only minus for him is his walks. so if your league doesnt have walks, i reccomend having him on your team.
