Chad Billingsley

I know he's not in the minors but he's very young. Last year he was at the top of the prospect lists but had control problems in the majors. If you had to rank him as a prospect where would he rank? What do you think his long term ceiling is?

he'd rank right behind Hughes and ahead of Bailey on my lists...

you could actualy flip flop hughes and Billz, just i preffer Hughes myself but the talents that high. he's got front line starter stuff and excellent makeup. I believe the command was just a hic-up as he greatly improved his last 9 games last year ending his season.

the RP role i think will only help him hone his stuff a little more, and help his confidence.

He's definetly one to try to get in all dynasty/keeper league formats cheaply if his owners are down on him from the RP role or are not patient.

hr and bb rates suffered in AAA
he wouldn't be entering '07 in the top 25 if he was still a rookie

IMO Billingsley stuff isn't all that great.I own him and watched him pitch every single time he pitched last year.I think hes a solid two or three at the next level...I don't think his ceiling is as high as guys like Hughes,Bailey,and Lincecum.

you really need to learn more on prospects my man, i dont mean to harsh on you but not every super pitching prospect busts on the scene like Liriano and Verlander.
