Any word on him? He is supposed to pitch twice.

I doubt Escobar will pitch twice this week. If there is anyone that is a two start pitcher on the Angels, its Lackey.

But Escobar is an injury-risk, but solid SP when healthy.

Escobar IS scheduled for 2 starts this week.....both at home vs. TEX (V.Padilla) and OAK (E.Loaiza). I'm probably going to start him over Derek Lowe (2 starts: @OAK (D.Haren) and @CLE (F.Carmona).

Do you think I'm making the right decision there? Escobar's healthy from what I understand.....

Escobar quoted at the bottom of this unrelated article:

Kelvim Escobar said he feels no effects from a strained lower back and is ready to pitch Tuesday. "Everything was good," Escobar said. "It was like (the back injury) never happened."
