Your offense is great, except your OF is a little risk/reward-y in Rios and Pierre. However, after Peavy, Bonderman, and Hoffman, your pitching is mediocre at best. Drop Buerhle and trade Rios for a high-tier pitcher like Hamels or Schmidt.

I would agree with Neato Torpedo.

I don't like Buerhle this year. Drop him, check around the FA/WW for a starting pitcher + look for a trade involving Rios.

I will offer Rios for Schmidt and see what happens. Also do you think that Buehrle will not have a good year even though it is a contract year for him?

If not and I drop him here are the top winning pitchers from last year still on WW

Buerhle for Snell, Maine, Chuck James......don't just go by last year's rankings, unless you're in a league that you get access to in a delorean you speed through town hall with.

Both SB & CS, hey? Question: wouldn't you guarantee yourself a win there if you punted the category? Luckily for you, that just means trading Freel and Pierre, and you can do that for great gain.

With TB (counting doubles) and BB as cats, Helton should be in your UTIL slot with Sizemore in CF.

This is the rare time to punt away a category.

Sorry, I forgot to say that I keep Sizemore to keep other teams honest and off your trail

Now, they have to play two OBP killing no homer speedsters to beat you in a weekly matchup.

I would rather keep Freel because of all the positions he plays but I get what you are saying about punting a cat. As for the pitchers that were chimmed in all of those guys were taken. My league, though not a keeper, takes the young guys in the mid to late rounds rather than taking the guys who are established.

So truly try to trade Pierre put Sizemore in CF and Helton at Utility. I will try to trade Pierre for a SP or Closer.

What do you guys think of Rios? Should I try to ship him out as well so I can move Hart into my starting lineup?

Would Pierre and Rios give you Ichiro? He never gets caught stealing.

I would bench Rios for Hart if you have a hunch. I could see trading Rios for sure, but you don't have to.
