Any news on why he was taken out after 2/3 of inning? I know he jammed his finger, but why couldn't he get the last out? He threw 13 pitches.

i cant find any news about him in the local papers, so i guess hes fine. i hope they announce something soon.

I haven't read anything either so my guess would be that he's fine.

Maybe they just wanted him to throw 10+ pitches for that particular game

His finger is problably still sore. He slamed it in a car door by accident on Thursday according to MLB.com.
