I wouldn't qualify that as actually losing the job. It's not like Otsuka is closing now because of Gagne's struggles. But yeah, I do think that Lidge will/should have a very short leash after his incapability last year and this spring.

I'd vote Hermanson. Just seemed like a last minute solution the Reds came up with. They've never really been known for their great pitcher decisions either.

Kerry Wood has fans? I mean, outside of the hospital? 8-o

I know what you mean, but he actually has to come back and stay healthy to take the job. It just won't happen, IMO.
