I as a simple question: Who will be the first closer to lose his job this year? I am not counting closer by committees or whatever it is that the Reds are doing.

This year seems an especially terrible year for closers, so there are a ton of options.

I'm gonna go with Dempster. Unreliable + New Manager + Pressure to be good right away + other decent options in the 'pen = very poor job security.

i voted dempster as well. lidge should also be on that list if you ask me. hes had a horrible spring, and wasnt even the closer to finish the year. he deserves jenks' spot on the poll if you ask me.

To me the race is between Lidge and Gagne, with Gagne already winning I guess by starting the season on the DL.
