I just read on rotoworld that hermanson blew it today and it looks like weathers is now the closer, is there any validity to this?

check out the Closer Thread (among others) and I think you will get some good info on this.

"These go to 11".

Haha, man the reds just cannot decide on a set closer. Weathers, Hermanson, Stanton?! Todd Coffey?! Trade to the Red Sox for Piniero?! Man, my advice is to just leave any RP from cincinatti alone.

From Rotoworld.....

Dustin Hermanson was seen packing up his belongings and saying goodbye to Reds teammates on Sunday morning.

Hermanson has apparently gone from potential closer to being one of the Reds' final cuts. David Weathers is suddenly looking like a more solid pick, and Todd Coffey becomes a better sleeper.

Keep in mind what day it is. There is a strong chance that he's pulling a great April Fools Day prank. Nobody should be making foolish drops for Weathers or Coffey yet.

i think it brings stanton back into the mix and he'll have about 40% as many saves as stormy.

I'm one of the thouands that cut Weathers for Hermanson based on the news from MLB.com and Narron. I am curious how big of a player Stanton will be? Remember Narron took Weathers out of the closers job last year, and ended the year closing WITH Stanton.
