In an attempt to reach beyond the realm of fantasy baseball, this thread has been created with the hope of basking in the written word. Whether it be in the form of a book, an article, a review, etc., utilize this forum to share with others and embark on lively (even mildly dangerous) discussions about galvanizing reads.
And most of all, prove that there are things to read other than Moneyball!
And so I will begin with a very brief excerpt from a humorous Nick Hornby article regarding none other than Moneyball (Okay, so consider this the cleansing process.):
Anyway, I understood about one word in every four of Moneyball, and it's still the best and most engrossing sports book I've read for years. If you know anything about baseball, you will enjoy it four times as much as I did, which means that you might explode.

.. so true..
But I've read other stuff, like.. um
some of Sandy Koufax' biography (but it was hard to read)
