I know all about his potential and what Hamels did in the 2nd half last season--I drafted him. But what a miserable ST he's having. And how many home runs did he give up to the Red Sox the other day--3? 4? Should I be worried? I'm keeping him on the bench for his 1st start against the Dodgers. Thoughts?

You shouldn't be worried. Start him against the Dodgers.

i wouldnt pay much attention to ST stats. be worried about hamels staying in one piece, but not about him dominating when he's out on the mound
thoughts on my projections?

His ST performance? No. His higher % to get injured since he has a history of injuries. A little.

dont worry about spring training. most guys take ST a little easier because they wanna stay healthy. and dont worry too much about his tendancy to get injured either. a lot of it is freak injuries like the bar fight, i wouldn't call him injured proned.

He's starting their second game vs. Atlanta (Hudson) Wednesday 4/4. I agree with these guys though, I wouldn't be worried about him. Spring training is spring training. He'll be fine. Yes this is coming from a Philly guy and a Cole lover.
Well in that case, start him against the Braves. The original poster said his first start was against the Dodgers. Either way, there's absolutely nothing to worry about.
