Yanks' Johnson ailing
TAMPA — New York Yankees designated hitter and first baseman Nick Johnson has stopped taking batting practice because of a lingering left wrist injury. Johnson, who hurt the wrist last August, underwent an MRI Thursday, and the team said Friday the results were negative. Johnson, 24, hit .243 with 15 homers and 58 RBI in 129 games last season. "I'm pretty concerned," Johnson said. "It doesn't feel too good." - ESPN
"Life is tough. But it is even tougher when you're stupid." - John Wayne
