contract issues

hey guys, doing a contract league. basically due to time restraints what we had to do was a reg draft, knowing who u picked had a certain dollar value provided by sportsline auction values. we want to do contracts go up a percentage each yr. originally it was 5% however a guy who makes a dollar this yr, going up 5% isnt that big of a deal. anybody have any ideas on best ways to work contracts

maybe add 3$-5$ at the end of year. some leagues do an inflation of like 30% this way the studs cant be kept every year.
