Analyze my team- It's my birthday!

13 team yahoo 5x5 roto league...I have some glaring weaknesses in the OF and in the saves department...Jose Guillen, Al Reyes, and Dustin Hermanson are all available...

C- Chris Iannetta
1B- David Ortiz
2B- Ian Kinsler
3B- David Wright
SS- Carlos Guillen
OF- Gary Sheffield
OF- Willy Taveras
OF- Shane Victorino
Util- Travis Hafner
Util- Jason Giambi
BN- Freddy Sanchez
BN- Jonny Gomes
BN- Cory Hart

SP- Jake Peavy
SP- John Smoltz
RP- Jorge Julio
RP- Jose Valverde
P- Joel Zumaya
P- Scot Shields
P- CC Sabathia
BN- Ervin Santana
BN- Greg Maddux

Should I start Hart or Victorino as my third OF? Are any of Jose Guilen, Al Reyes, or Dustin Hermanson worth a pickup? And if so, for who? Any other suggestions, general thoughts on my team would be appreciated. You better anyway, since it is my birthday.

I'm not sure what a 13 team league team should look like, but I think you are weak in the outfield and after Smoltz, your starting pitching doesn't have much depth. i'd go Victorino as your third outfielder.

I think your pitching staff looks pretty strong for 13 teams.

I agree that you need another closer. I might go out on a limb and suggest dropping Maddux for Hermanson as pitching options should be plentiful throughout the year and Maddux isn't really the Maddux of old. If not Maddux then Gomes or Hart.

I'd try shopping Giambi and Victorino around for a good OF. That way you could pickup Hermanson with the extra roster space.

All in all if you can get some more sources for saves and can patch up that OF then you should be competitive.

Drop Gomes for Hermanson, good team otherwise.

Help a guy out?
