There are some pretty good FA's out there. I have first waiver priority too. The list includes: Edwin Encarnacion, David DeJesus, Chris Duncan, Milton Bradley, Randy Winn, Shane Victorino, Ronny Paulino, Jose Bautista, Luke Scott, Corey Hart...
Pitchers include: Anibal Sanchez, Dan Wheeler, Cla Meredith, Matt Capps, Clay Hensley, John Maine, Justin Duchscherer, Jeremy Sowers, Salomon Torres, Armando Benitez, Scott Linebrink...
great team overall. i like the wright/vlad combo there. you may need a little speed but its not that big of a worry. i like your Pitching as well but you may want more of a sure thing for RP besides Broxton and Otsuka.
Hard to say how good your lineup really is without knowing how many players are starters and how many on the bench.
Eleven pitchers seems like alot, especially if you are limited to 6 or 7 starters. If you're not starting 9 pitchers, suggest some R & RBI producers.
Assuming only one starter per 1B 2B 3B SS and 3 OF, & even with 1 or 2 UTs, you don't have too many options if someone goes DL.
Of batters on FA, suggest Ecarnacion, either Dejesus or Winn, Victorino, Duncan, Scott, (Bradley, Bautista or Paulino - less AB than others).
I like to stack up on pitching because the position players play almost every day. I have a trade in progress. The owner just has to accept. I'd be sending Uggla and Ordonez for Iguchi and Abreu.
Good move.
Should improve BA, R & SB with little or no change to HR & RBI.
Hope trade accepted.
Lots of P's still give you some options once season starts.
