We'll see if anyone gets that obscure one.

But I still have faith that the Braves will pull through next season. After all their big pick-ups last year and I think being favored to take the NL East, the Phillies couldn't even get the wild card. I would however, accept a wild-card berth for the Braves if they win the World Series. ;-)

Someone is favored to beat the braves every year and every year the Braves run away with there division. This year is the year they finally loose. The Phillies will be tough.

the Phillies are the only team we could possibly lose to. All the other teams have gone to pot.

With Byrd coming back midway through the season I think we have a fair shot at winning the division again.

Trevisc, I am a huge Braves fan but if you have to rely on Paul byrd to be our savior we are in some serious S$%#. He is nothing more than a 4th pitcher on any team in baseball. He had 1 good year that was imo a fluke and now coming back from arm trouble he might not even be as good as he was.

This is the first time in a long time that I ever thought the Braves would miss the playoffs. As it stands right now, they won't make it. They need some changes before the season starts.

If both of those are lies than Boras' credibility is down the toilet, and his power of persuasion will be gone, which would mean his usefulness to players will be gone as well.
