Good news for Philly fans.
Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Yes, I imagine they will be favored to beat the Braves out this year.

i dont understand this. why would milwood accept arbitration if he had an offer of 5 years/75 mil like boras claimed? could it be that boras wasnt completely honest? i have to say that i am very shocked at that possibility. ;-)

Lol. :-D

I'll say that he didn't have the offer and Boras was just trying to get some interest going in Millwood. ;-) Obviously, it didn't work.

No, rubbing it in would be saying that even though the Braves have won the division every year since forever, the Mets and Marlins have been to WS more recently than the Braves... but I won't go there. ;-)

Then again, I have no sympathy for the Braves after the 3-1 comeback in 96. I would have posted sooner, but I was reliving Game 5 from section 591... ow.

I will be surprised when someone actually does beat the Braves though.

Wow....Boras couldn't "Hicks-over" anyone w/ Millwood this year. I posted elsewhere, that if I was the Phillies, and Milwood/Boras said they had 5x15 waiting.....that they should say "let us know what the team is, and we'll be glad to call them on our dime, and accept it for you"

5x15.........SURE ;-D
If I were playing third base and my mother were rounding third with the run that was going to beat us, I'd trip her. Oh, I'd pick her up and brush her off and say, 'Sorry, Mom,' but nobody beats me.
