Over the course of time people get to know others by their screen names. It's tough to tell one guest from another. By registering, people can get to know you and what you know. Makes the place a lot better because of that. We have some very knowledgeable guests, but like any other site, we get our share of knuckleheads as well. This way, people can get to know you before deciding what they think, and not just jumping at you for being a guest.

Time to face the facts buddy, the sox with arod and magglio and schill and foulke are much better than the yankees. That is when they get arod and magglio...And even if they don't, the team is the same as last year, except you add a top SP in curt, and a top closer in foulke, and you minus todd walker, that's the only difference right now...The only reason your pissed off is because you know this is true, all yankee fans are mad that the redsox are going to have the better team on the field next year.

As far as our registered members go, all guests fall under the same person because there's no one else to relate it to. I know that it shouldn't be that way but most guests have that bias against them because most of the knuckleheads out there that only want to cause problems or say idiotic things don't register. We get plenty of knowledgeable guests as well, and encourage them to register that way they can be a part of the group.
As to getting to know each other, all of our regulars know quite a bit about each other. It's just things that come up in conversation. We do in fact know each other, and in some cases, have met each other or played a league together. We have a private messenging service for registered members as well, just in case there's something you want to tell someone without making it public. Lots of our members know each other pretty well.
