I'm just saying what Yankee fans saw for years. He seemed to become non-existant late, which can hurt fantasy playoffs. As for roto, Posada's gold.
Career Numbers Second half vs. first half:
average----------------- +.02
On base percentage--- -.15
Slugging percentage--- -.009
OPS---------------------- -.025
There you go. All of it is very minimal. Pretty even between the halves to me.

no one is calling you a dope ....
Looking at the numbers ...
Posada ususally has a 2 half power drop, yes ... but his average remains very consistent .. This might have alot to do with the drop in AB's during the 2nd half .. .. .. becuase he is tired ..
I'm aware of the difference in the two seasons. I didn't call you a dope. I wouldn't resort to that kind of thing, it's not worth it. Just providing numbers that suggest that Posada doesn't decline in the second half of the season like a few people think.

Don't rely on Greg Myers, trust me. I don't know what's in the water here in Toronto (besides SARS) but I don't see him doing that well again. He's very old and I thought they acquired him as a symbol of their past.....similar to them getting Hentgen this year and Tony Fernandez a while ago. I'd probably draft Tom Wilson over Greg Myers.
