Here's a newly drafted team in a 10-Team H2H league.

I like my pitching staff, but I think I'm lacking a little power outside of Berkman and C. Lee; there are guys who can hit homers, they're just not guys capable of 40+.

Speed looks a little suspect but I'm counting on Reyes to do his fair share of work in that category.

Since its H2H (daily lineup changes too) I decided to forgo a 5th starter and picked up Broxton and Neshek at the end of the draft to help out with my Ks and ratios.

I send:Webb and Matsui
I recieve: Sizemore and Konerko

(The other owner is really hurting in pitching -- he also has Pujols and LaRoche, with Swisher on the bench -- so I figured there was a good chance that this deal could be made, and it adds another reliable power source to my lineup. Plus I also have other formidable options in my staff.)

Any input and analysis is greatly appreciated. WHIR for sure.

Good team! My take is a little bit different than yours.

I think your fine in Power. Everyone should get you 20 plus HRs & good RBIs; expect Martin, Reyes, & Barfield. What I think you need is some more SBs.

I wouldn't do that 2 for 2 trade b/c I think your fine in Power and can't afford to give up starting pitching. You'd only have 3 SPs left.

I'd see if you can get Sizemore in a 2 for 1. Maybe a package of Matsui & Encarnacion, or Matsui & Broxton.

You're fine in power. Good pitching too, as long as you don't break it up. Previous poster is right though, you could use some steals.

Steals arent so much of a pressing need since you have the base robber in Reyes.

To be honest with you this team looks solid for now. If you can get Sizemore that would be solid.

i think you lose more giving up webb than you do 'upgrading' matsui to sizemore (you basically are only gaining his SB as I think they will have similar offensive numbers otherwise) and Ibanez to Konerko, which, ibanez had a career year but still, if he comes close to last year, Konerko only adds a better batting average and possibly some more rbi's and a few more HR. Losing Webb hurts your whip, k, possibly wins, era since you won't be able to replace him with anything close to his numbers. I am not sold on the fact you need steals in H2H, roto yes but H2H is so unpredictable that I wouldn't worry about it since you will at least compete and possibly win from time to time just with reyes.

I thought about the deal and losing Webb and decided it wasn't worth dismantling the staff I'd set-up.

I dunno, it came down to it and I had to take Chipper -- who I'm not that fond of -- at 3B, which is why I decided to draft Encarnacion for insurance; Zimmerman was available, but the Nats' lineup doesn't appeal to me this season.

This is my first H2H league as I've been playing Roto forever and decided to try it out.
