you went too offense heavy. gagne, figgins and probably griffey are all already out. cantu is about to lose his job drop him. try and trade brad penny to someone who only looks at last year numbers and doesnt know he sucks. Trade rolen for pitching help, maybe trade Vmart too depending on who is on waivers.
i like the offense heavy selecting, cas pictures impacts aren't big due to the fact the only pitch once maybe twice a week compared to guys going everyday, and besides maybe the top 7 pitchers, even good pitchers are pretty unpredictable ..
and usually if i stay attentitive u can pick up a hot or young pitcher off the FAs
but yeah MAYBE ill trade like a cano for a pitcher then pick up barfield ... different possibilities are across the board
Great speed, especially in a month with figgins gets healthy.
The power on the team is weak. Unless bonds, griffey, and delmon young all live up to potential/health, this team wont get past 200 hrs and wont be competitive in this category.
The pitching is also a little questionable, with gagne hurt and otsuka behind him, especially being lights out last season so your only closer is chris ray. Even if gagne is healthy, you still need another closer to be highly competitive in the cat.
If the inning cap is 1250, I would add another sp just to fill up the inning limit.
I would trade out vmart and a speedster with wainright/burnett to get a downgraded catcher, a big power bat, and a closer if possible.
