Pods has auctually had a good spring and since he is still stealing bases in spring training he still has value in all roto leagues 10+ teams. Thanks for the update.

Thanks, yeah I am in a 14 team points league but its him or Nelson Cruz, (who I am waiting on a bit to maybe switch to as a breakout possibility), and Reed Johnson for my bench. Guess I will stick with him for now...just saw that Ozzie is going to talk today about if he is starting on opening day.

From the Chicago Tribune:

ATLANTA -- When the White Sox faced Atlanta left-hander Chuck James on Friday night, Pablo Ozuna was batting leadoff and Scott Podsednik was on the bench.

Is that a sign of things to come with Cleveland lefty C.C. Sabathia scheduled for Monday's opener at U.S. Cellular Field?

Not necessarily, according to manager Ozzie Guillen.

"On Opening Day, I like to play the [regular] guys because that's a special day," Guillen said. "It's an important day for everyone, and Pods is our everyday left fielder. [But] the way Ozuna is swinging right now makes it tougher."

Guillen said left-handed swingers Darin Erstad and Jim Thome would bat second and third, despite Sabathia. He still was undecided on whether A.J. Pierzynski or Tadahito Iguchi would bat seventh.

Everything I've heard indicates that Pods should be ok for Opening Day, although he may not be the "Opening Day starter" because Ozuna is hot at the moment and has pwned Sabathia historically.

Heard it on 670 The Score that Pablo will start tomorrow because he hits Sabathia better than Pods. Pods, however, is the regular LF.

Pods started in Saturday's spring training game at LF for the Sox, and had 4 at bats in the leadoff slot. He looked healthy to me. I see no reason he won't play on opening day.
