From the Chicago Tribune:
ATLANTA -- When the White Sox faced Atlanta left-hander Chuck James on Friday night, Pablo Ozuna was batting leadoff and Scott Podsednik was on the bench.
Is that a sign of things to come with Cleveland lefty C.C. Sabathia scheduled for Monday's opener at U.S. Cellular Field?
Not necessarily, according to manager Ozzie Guillen.
"On Opening Day, I like to play the [regular] guys because that's a special day," Guillen said. "It's an important day for everyone, and Pods is our everyday left fielder. [But] the way Ozuna is swinging right now makes it tougher."
Guillen said left-handed swingers Darin Erstad and Jim Thome would bat second and third, despite Sabathia. He still was undecided on whether A.J. Pierzynski or Tadahito Iguchi would bat seventh.
