What's up with Cantu?

Last I heard since he's struggling this spring, that he might split time with Upton. What's going on with this situation? It's almost opening day and I still have found this out. Thanks.

There's a few threads elsewhere on here speculating that he might be traded (seems like all rumours right now), the Bosox and Mets are most often mentioned in those rumors. For some reason TB is going to either trade or cut him. I really think that organization is screwed up, and this is just the latest example that they don't know what they're doing.

Upton has much much more upside than Cantu, and Cantu has been terrible since his breakout year 2 years ago. He is terrible defensively and now he can't hit anymore. Upton is the way to go for TB at 2nd, the mistake they made was waiting this long to find a position for Upton.

Upton is labeled as 3B in my league. Should it be switching over?

Upton will be the starting 2B. In Yahoo leagues he'll gain 2B eligibility after 5 starts (he won't lose 3B eligibility).
