Is anyone else a bit excited to see Redman as a no 4 starter for the A's. I think he'll have a really nice year against bottom of the order pitchers on other teams

I think he's a much better pitcher then Lilly, possibly a no 2 starter for some teams. Big improvement for the A's

Guess you'll just have to win 1-0 or 2-1. You guys were going after M. Cameron about as hard as we were, and he's not exactly known for his offense, seems like Beane was looking for defense to me

huge park to average size park
big run support to no run support
not to mention he only has had 1 good year

# 2 starter -- on perhaps the Tigers or Orioles or any other cellar dweller in baseball
Average stuff. Had a nice run last year. Mixed his stuff up a lot better -- and increased K's resulted.
He'd a nice 5th starter for the A's. If they end up dealing him again, I don't see much lost here. I wouldn't say he's an upgrade from Lilly as Lilly has better stuff, but Redman makes the most of his.

I don't know that I'd run out and buy any replica A's Redman jerseys just yet. I suspect he may be shipped out for a bat.
How about that A's bullpen? Rhodes and Hammond are nice additions.
