Which top pitcher do you think is most likely to have a horrible first game?
Sabathia v.s CWS?
Kazmir v.s NYY?
Carpenter v.s NYM?
Santana v.s BAL?
Webb v.s COL?
Any others I didn't mention are up for discussion as well.
I personally think Sabathia is going to get lit up like the 4th of July. His forearm is banged up and the Chicago's middle of the order is nasty.

C.C. Sabathia OWNS the White Sox. 4-0 last year with a 2.23 ERA and 12-3 lifetime.
Out of all those guys, I'd pick Kazmir. He's never been blown away by the Yankees but he's still only 1-3 against them. But then just about any pitcher facing the Yankees lineup should be approached with caution.

Or approached with a comfy seat on the bench.

Yoda would you generally avoid a team or do you usually just go by past performance by a guy versus that team? Yankees lineup is always scary IMO, and it seems like a good move to take maybe them and the Cubs and just save your IP for another day...

I avoid sitting an ace. I think pitchers are more ready around this time of the year than hitters are anyway.
Although I NEVER start pitchers at COL. No matter who it is.

I think Kaz vs Yanks... mostly because I have him and I never start off the season well.
