What is the opinion of Woody Williams? Was last year a one year wonder? I have him on my team and I am trying to move him with no luck.
Just getting peoples opinion on this potential one year wonder.

i think williams would make a nice 4th or 5th starter on a team.

i would classify him as a bust next year. injury prone, old, and i dont think suppan will take that much pressure off

Id draft him in the late rounds but he will probably be drafted before then by somebody based on last year's stats

he was golden for me last year, but i have a bad feeling about him this year. Especially how he finished last year.

i have every confidence in him next year. looking at his numbers reveals that he was clearly over pitched in the first half of the year resulting in a subpar second half. he hit a new career high in innings in 2003 and was amongst the league leaders in pitches per game. the cards bullpen is improved and larussa is keen to avoid a similar situation in 2004 with woody and morris as well, so i consider it highly unlikely he will be misused next year. he will be a good pitcher to have next year.
