Per sportsline.com:
News: The Kansas City Star reports that Jeremy Affeldt (rib cage) tested his injury by throwing a 33-pitch bullpen workout Tuesday. "He reported no pain or discomfort in the oblique area," said trainer Nick Swartz. "More than anything else, Jeremy Affeldt is getting his throwing arm back in shape."
Analysis: Affeldt has been sidelined since June 26. He is hopeful of returning by mid-August.
Thanks biju!!!

Hawkins is serving his suspension, hence Remlinger getting the save. Affeldt is allegedly back pitching on August 20, according to ESPN, which is quoting the KC Star

you beat me to it DHC, reports from KC say he should be back on Friday, but more than likely it will be this weekend.

Just saw that Graves is being put on the 15 day DL, any idea who will keep the spot warm for him?

Looking forward to get Affeldt back!!!
As for Graves, I'd look at Wagner being the guy...chances are it will be a committee though.
