Guardero.............sounds like a righty/lefty specialist uber-closer composed of Eddie Guardado and Francisco Cordero
BTW: I wouldn't count on Wickman being the closer for Cleveland. He was never great and is coming off an an injury. Riske was awesome last year. I think they'll battle for the spot in spring training but Riske should get the job IMO.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."

as with Wickman and Riske in Cleveland....both jobs are still up in the air.....most of what I have read have them the way they are listed....but I have read both situations the other way too....
Some of them I had to read between the lines....and take my best educated guess....

I know this sounds crazy, but don't forget that Mike Williams is a free agent. Wouldn't surprise me at all for one of the lower teams to take a shot on him.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Dec. 19 -- All that remains for Oakland to sign the left-hander is his passing a physical, according to A's general manager Billy Beane. Beane all but announced Rhodes as the club's closer at a fan event Thursday night in Oakland. Beane said he expected the signing to occur before the weekend.
Looks like this should be done very soon.....
