Giants came home tonight

Postby Deuce » Fri Mar 30, 2007 2:53 am

The team looked pretty good on the field today.
Five consecutive hit at one point in the 1st
Bonds went 2-3 with a run
Durham rbi triple into the deep alley
Barry Zito held his own
Benitez gave up a double, but was otherwise solid
Frandsen got a little to eager to get to third
Overall, they were ready

Bring on tomorrow

We didn't get to see much Cain, but we know he is able.
Another great 1st inning.
Roberts leadoff triple
Vizquel doubles him home
Barry flied out
Durham sacrificed
Aurilia struckout swinging
last three not good, but if we can have these kinds of starts, we'll get there.

I think I like this team. Still a bit old for me, but let's hope a fountain of youth or Hank Aaron can spark them.

Hey that Frandsen kid got on base again. If he makes the squad, I'll give him a one of my last roster spots in fantasy. He'll get eligibility all around by the end of the season.
Given the chance, he'll make it.

Bullpen was OK as well

i cant believe they blew that game. Cain throws a one hitter and loses and then throws a 2 hitter and gets a no decision.

I can believe it. It's the second time in a row the bullpen has done it to him. The rotation appears to be solid. Luckily the bats seem to be waking up. The bullpen can't give games away like this. WE're old, we need every early win we can get.
Aurilia's age is starting to show too. should have been 4 runs.

Even with those old, slightly injured legs, Richie is taking those bases. A couple more extra bags in the last two games.

Rich is one of the top hitters in the NL. Yea the bullpen is pretty bad, Rich should be playing thrid and Klesko at first. Get Feliz out of the lineup as fast as possible.
