10 team yahoo h2h non keeper.

note: yahoo gave me mark prior in the second round when i could have had barry bonds or magglio ordonez. apparently yahoo assumed i was away, and prior was in my queue (i didnt wanna have to search for him, he was ranked way lower than he should have been, like in the 200s). i dont know why the hell yahoo thought i was away, but as i was debating between bonds and magglio BAM! i got prior. the bottom line is I HATE YAHOO!! :-#

*ahem* now my team...

c - eli marrero
1b - jason giambi
2b - brett boone
3b - eric chavez
ss - edgar renteria
of - vladimir guerrero
of - bobby abreu
of - pat burrell
util - preston wilson
util - vernon wells
bench - austin kearns
becnh - aubrey huff
bench - mark bellhorn

sp - mark prior :-# :~(
sp - kerry wood
rp - keith foulke
rp - matt mantei
p - wade miller
p - jason schmidt
p - randy wolf
bench - ben sheets
bench - scott williamson
bench - damian moss

whaddya think? how do i improve this? trade for a stud sp? get rid of prior so seeing him doesnt drive me crazy?? %-6

thanks in advance...

Nice team. I think Yahoo did that because they knew you were too good.

Were the other players picking from a 1992 cheat sheet??? How in the world do you get Vlad, Giambi, and Abreu while still wasting a 2nd round pick on Prior? That means GIambi was still available in the 3rd round, and Abreu in the 4th???

Nice Team

That's a pretty nice team except that you could use a little help with your relief pitchers. You hitting is pretty much covered, and your starters should hold, but Ireally don't think that those relievers will give the stats that you want. Foulke is coming off a disastrous year. You should try to trade him for another closer or trade one of your many hitters. (except for Vlad)

i would be thrilled to come away from my draft with that roster. monitir pitching as the season unfolds....you have enough offensive depth to get a stud sp if you so choose.

Good Looking team.

I wouldn't kick myself too harshly for taking Prior over Maggs and Bonds, he could have a great year. But, I doubt good enough to take over those two. Oh, well chalk another one mistake up to Yahoo. I wonder if they have any clue as to how these things, drive us fantasy owners nutz?

Nice offense man! Even guys like Eli Marrero at catcher makes you look smart. Nice job. And you shouldnt worry too bad about having Prior, at least he's awesome.

Whoa! Ignore the advice above concerning Foulke. The last two months he gave up 1 run. One. He had a terrible start but should be back to his old self in Oakland, with plenty of leads to protect. Think about it: What was the last bad move that Billy Beane has made?
