all I have to say is that if they pull off this trade then both GMs/Owners should get a freaking award. The baseball union is out of control. It's about time for another strike. Put them back in their place. Even the players don't have a right to speak up for themselves. Sounds like a cult!

I say, let Hicks keep him. For the life of me I do not undertstand him.

He has ,in Boston ,a deal that will save him $80+ million dollars over the life of the contract and he is asking for more.

With A-Rod his team will still finish 4th. He will have another year of declining attendance. He still will not be able to afford a quality starter and so he keeps on insisting for more.


Hicks, Boras and A-Rod deserve each other.
They should all banned to.... Arlington forever.

Obviously you didn't read the article. The hangup right now is that the player's association thinks that Arod is giving up too much to play in Boston. It has nothing to do with Hicks, Boras, or the Rangers.
