Quick question on the big trade

Does anyone think that there is (at this point) any upside to the Manny/ Arod trade NOT going through. It seems to me that both the Red Sox and Rangers have to make this happen some how. I guess what I am asking is, at this stage of the trade talks, is there any hope for Arod in Texas or Nomar in Boston to be happy? Has too much damage already been done?

I think Nomar is currently more unhappy than Arod but he's also a free agent at the end of the season. I don't think it will hurt either player's value too much if the trade falls through.
