welcome to the cafe Money ...

the first thing you need to figure out is ..
what do you want to play .. points baseball, 5x5 , H2H ..there are tons of variations ...
Points is just that ... If the batter singles he gets a point, a Pitcher gets a strikeout, he would get him a point and so on and on ...

5X5 is the most popular ...
It is 5 batting categories, usually AVG. Runs, HRs, RBIs, SBs
and then 5 pitching categories Wins, Sv, ks ERA, Whip ..

H2H vs. Roto ...
H2H is just as the name implies. You play against another owner for that week and post points as a 'Score'. HRs vs Hrs / RBIs vs RBIs... who ever has the most HRs for the week gets a point. RbIs gets another point. There is usually between 10-14 total categories between batting and pitching.
Roto .. is the "original" .... Is an accumualtion of stats as the season progress .. may the best man win :-D

::adjusts collar ::

once you figure out what you want to play, go over to the classified forums and scope around. There is always new leagues forming down there. :-D

as far as tips, stratagies and players. You have come to the right place ... "The Cafe" ... we pretty much cover ever angle you could think of ..
Go ahead ... try us ....

Think of one ... :-)

again welcome to the cafe ... ;-D there is a ton of A's fans here. you'll feel right at home.

Yes doctor, I am sick.
Sick of those who are spineless.
Sick of those who feel self-entitled.
Sick of those who are hypocrites.
Yes doctor, an army is forming.
Yes doctor, there will be a war.
Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
