I'm not sure if people are looking at your roster when analyzing the deal, but where are you going to go for outfield help? In a vacuum, I like the first deal, but you will need to find another deal to improve that depleted OF. Also, C Floyd probably won't give you the production you expect, since he will be in a platoon role with Murton.

I def would do deal 2. You desperately need pitching, and what's a backup catcher going to do for you?
